What it offers

The Active 2 is a balanced everyday watch. You get a sharp AMOLED screen, GPS for runs and rides without carrying your phone, and health tracking for heart rate and sleep. It works as a smartwatch with notifications too. About 10 days of battery is enough that most people charge it once or twice a week.

Active 2 vs the Active 3 Premium

The newer Active 3 Premium, also in our range, adds a larger 365 mAh battery for about 12 days, sapphire glass and extra running and navigation features, at a higher price. If you don't need those, the Active 2 is the better value.

Active 2 vs Active 2 Premium

We also stock the Active 2 Premium. Reviews list that version with a stainless steel build and a leather strap. See its page for the difference.

Who the Active 2 is for

First-time fitness watch buyers.

Casual runners and gym-goers who want GPS without paying for a premium model.
