Street Fighter 6 – PS4

The series' most content-complete modern entry — Street Fighter 6 combines a bold new art direction with an open-world single-player mode and refined competitive mechanics.

Product Description

Street Fighter 6 was developed and published by Capcom, releasing in June 2023. Learning visibly from Street Fighter V's rocky, content-sparse launch, this entry arrived with a substantially more complete package from day one, including three distinct game modes: Fighting Ground (traditional versus and arcade-style modes), World Tour (a genuinely open-world single-player RPG-style mode where you create and grow a custom character through the game's fictional world), and Battle Hub (a social, arcade-style online space for matchmaking and casual play).

Mechanically, the game introduced the "Drive System," a new resource-management layer governing techniques like parries, dashes, and enhanced special moves, adding a fresh strategic dimension for both newcomers and veteran players. Its distinctive, stylized art direction and character redesigns marked a deliberate visual departure from prior entries, aimed at broadening the franchise's appeal.

Critical reception was very strong, widely regarded as a significant course-correction and high point for the series, with particular praise for the ambition and completeness of World Tour mode as a genuinely substantial single-player offering (unusual for the fighting game genre), alongside well-received core fighting mechanics and a strong roster at launch.
